Grease Containment Solutions for Contractors

As an industry leader, Rooftop Solutions provides grease containment systems for restaurants and hospitality facilities.

WHAT to be aware of...

Whether you are a commercial roofing contractor, consultant, architect, or roof system designer, you should be aware of the serious problems that grease contamination can cause and the effect it has on the environment and within the roofing industry.

When inspecting a roof system for contaminants such as grease, make note of the homemade grease containment systems, such as sandboxes, plastic buckets, gutter systems, and standard metal catch pans. None of these homemade grease containment systems are effective long-term, or provide you with UL Listing, or EPA and NFPA compliance.

Rooftop grease containment is the responsible choice for more than just protecting the bottom line!

Include Grease Guard® in your project!

Why use Grease Guard®?

The most effective solution for Rooftop Grease Containment is to install a Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System®, which offers easy installation and follow-up maintenance, meets industry standards, and works as a long-term Grease Containment System for roofing contractors and building owners.

Factors to Consider

New Builds

Understand the fan schedule from the project drawings. Our teams will need these parts of the mechanical drawings to size the Rooftop Grease Containment System properly for your job.

If possible, include “Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System®” in the specification verbiage. Ensuring the proper verbiage is included will prevent any confusion for the rest of the team.

Existing Builds

Identify curb size, fan type, and amount of FOGs (fats, oils, greases) being expelled. Determining these specifications will assist our team in configuring a Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® that fits your building’s needs.

Become educated. Learning about rooftop grease production, the Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System®, and how to properly install and maintain it, will not only increase your chances of job approval but will provide your customers with useful knowledge about rooftop grease containment.

All Rooftop Grease Containment Systems require some maintenance. If you plan to maintain the product after the installation, be equipped with pricing information about Grease Guard® Filter Change-outs and OEM procedures. We can ship filters to you or your customer, or have our National Service Team perform the work for you.

HOW Grease Guard® works

Each Grease Guard® Rooftop Defense System® uses an advanced composite filter to trap fats, oils, greases, and chemicals in all weather conditions by being both hydrophobic (water resistant) and oil sorbent (able to absorb oils). The Rooftop Grease Guard® is completely standalone, does not attach to the roof, and does not interfere with exhaust equipment operations.

With superior performance, Grease Guard® is the most oil-absorbent, non-combustible, rainproof, and structurally sound closed grease containment system available today!
